Abstract

Shah Wali Allah (1114-1176) is one of those important literary personalities who played a vital and dynamic role in the field of Arabic and Islamic literature in the region of Subcontinent. This article deals with topical and artistical study of an important Qaseeda Atyab Alnagm by Shah Wali Allah in the eulogy of the Holy Prophet SAW. This poem consists of one hundred and seven verses. This poem artistically presents the high moral stature and miraculously pure and beautiful personality in physicality and genealogy of Holy Prophet SAW. From artistic point of view, this qaseeda stands out in the Subcontinent’s poetry composed in the eulogy of Holy Prophet SAW. The research is divided into four parts: 1. Biography of Shah Wali Allah 2.Introduction of the Qaeeda and its topical study 3. Artistical study of the poem 4 Results and recommendations.
