Abstract

In the contemporary era, when societies are disintegrating due to religious, ethnic, and ideological prejudices, the Prophetic Seerah (Sīrah al-Nabawiyyah) presents a universal model that establishes a peaceful social order based on human dignity, mutual respect, and societal harmony. The Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ offers a complete and practical framework for humanity at the global level. It highlights the diverse concepts of human dignity, the rights and status of persons with disabilities and marginalized groups, and communities affected by racial discrimination.

This study examines these dimensions by focusing on the challenges faced by human dignity in the modern world and attempts to present their solutions in the light of the exemplary conduct of the Prophet ﷺ.

The major themes discussed in the paper include:

• Human status in Islam, the honour of humanity, and social harmony
• Restoration of social self-respect in the light of the Prophetic Seerah
• Teachings and attitude of the Prophet ﷺ regarding neglected and marginalized groups
