Grammatical issues and Trends of Tafseer Al-Qurtabi

Abstract

This article momentarily analyzes grammatical trends and issues related to "Marfoaat Names". Accordingly, being an analytical study of Imam Al-Qurtubi, it briefly summarizes words deduced by the Imam in accordance with his interpretation. Moreover, for an easy understanding, this study facilitates a manner of tranquil understanding for new researchers, learners and readers. The research investigation in hand further explores interest of under reference interpretation linguistically through its true meanings. The rhetorical methods, contents of the verses relating to semantics and judgments are also part of this study.

This research investigation also attempts to capture the life of Imam Al-Qurtubi. It further deals with some grammatical issues connecting to pragmatic clarification of verses examined systematically. The Names and grammatical analysis are also part of this research. This study described the rules and grammatical issues either these are relating to “Mjaroorats” (Used by sign Kasrah). The “Marfooaat” (Used by sign of Rafah). The “Masoobaat” (Used by sign of Fatha) are associated by the great commentator Imam Al-Qurtubi in his Tafsir “Al-Jamia Beahkaam Al-Quran”.  Research study particularly focused on Surah “Al-Baqarah” and Surah “Al-e-Imran” reveals the Imam Al-Qurtubi understandings and Interpretations for new readers to explore further research in the Holy Quran. As Classical tafsir trends, tafsir bi al- ma’thur (tradition-based interpretation) and tafsir bi al-ra’y (reason- based interpretation) are also taken as a pathway to understand Tafsir Imam Al-Qurtubi for this research investigation. Research under discussion also addresses to develop affluence of complex grammatical issues of Tafsir Imam Al-“Qurtubi with the help of Traditions “Hadiths” for new researchers and investigators.
