Importance of Shurah in Islamic Political System: In Perspective of Syed Suleman Ashraf’s Thoughts

Abstract

Numerous scholars have written on Islamic politics. One of them was Prof. Syed Mohammad Suleman Ashraf Bihari who bring up five principles of Islamic politics. The most important and very first principle is the Al-Moshawrah(المشاورة). The importance of Al-Moshawrah(المشاورةis recognized in Islamic politics. Al-Moshawrah(المشاورۃ) in politics is a symbol of the beauty of the nation. Islamic society is a state of peace because of Al-Moshawrah(المشاورة). We can establish peace and economic revolution in Islamic society to adopt Al-Moshawrah(المشاورۃ) in Islamic perspective. According to Syed Suleman Ashraf Al-Moshawrah(المشاورة) should only be taken by the responsible personality, therefore he divided complaints into two kinds, Al-Wajib(الواجب) and Gher-Al-wajib(غیر الواجب). In this time Islamic countries are far from importance of Al-Moshawrah(المشاورة) in Islamic politics. I shall find in this research paper the difficulties and hurdles in the way of Islamic Shora,e (الشورائی) System, and shall describe the methods of  Syed Suleman Ashraf through which could be removed those hurdles in the face of Islamic Politics.
