Abstract

This research paper has been presented to analyze the role of
ShaykhMuhammad Yusuf bin Ismail Nabahani in the promotion of Ilm-eDalail-un-Nubowah. Allah Almighty has sent His chosen men to guide the
people. He has given them miracles to prove their truth, which is called Dalailun-Nubowah.The Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah are its main sources.Muslim
scholars have played an extraordinary role in theevolutionof the Ilm-e-Dalailun-Nubowah in all periods of Islamic history. Among them, Sheikh
Muhammad Yusuf bin Ismail is very important personality in this regard. He
wrotetwo very reliable books related to this art and has introduced its
multifaceted aspects.He quoted the miracles, prophecies, characteristicsof
Holy Prophet andquotes of the great Imams as proofs of the confirmation of
the prophethood.He gave very strong and comprehensive answers to the
objections on the Dalail-un-Nubowah.In this background, it is very important
to study the role of Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf bin Ismail in order to get
acquainted with scholarly aspects of the Ilm-e-Dalail-un-Nubowah. This
research paper is in the process of being formulated in view of fulfilling this
intellectual need.
